3 days desert trip from Marrakech itinerary:
Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Benhaddou – Dades Gorge.
Our private circuit will depart from Marrakech to Ouarzazate through the High Atlas mountains. You will cross the Tizi n’Tichka pass (2260 m above sea level). You will arrive at the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou which was built at the end of the 19th century by the last Berber chief Thami El Glaoui. The site is recognized as a UNESCO heritage site, and where many films were filmed as the mummy, the Gladiator. Lunch will be at a local restaurant. Then, you will continue to Dades Gorge passing by Ouarzazate and the Rose Valley. Upon our arrival, we will check in for our hotel with dinner and overnight.
Day 2 : Dades Gorge – Todra Gorges – Camel Trekking – Erfoud – Merzouga
After breakfast, you will leave the Dades Gorges to Todra Gorge in Tinghir. You can take a trip in the gorges lined by cliffs. Then you will go to ERFOUD, located in the ZIZ Valley. The city is known for its marble and fossil factory. Then, you will go to Rissani, an economic center of the region and the city known for its market, its kasbahs, and its historical monuments. You will continue towards the desert of Merzouga. There, you will make a camel trek to see the sunset, then a camel trek to our camp for dinner and night under the tent.
Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani – Tazarine – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
After breakfast, you will return to Marrakech passing by Alnif and Tazarine. You will cross the Daraa Valley and make stops to take pictures of the palm grove and Kasbahs. In the afternoon, you will arrive in Marrakech. End of our tour.
